Doublet

Breeches
A generic baggt shape. Details included for various styles.
Note: Boys up to seven years old can still wear petticoats with this doublet, not breeches.
Materials
Commonly made as a suit but can be in different fabrics. Use light or medium weight woolen or worsted, or unbleached linen. Line both garments with linen. Add narrow braid on seamlines and edges for smartness. This is the age of the button: matching cloth, cast pewter, or thread-covered. But not wooden beads - Please!
